The “Silver Rabbit Collection” is a collection of jewelry by designer Mimi Parker Thomas. Mimi has always loved pearls and color. Her maternal grandmother gave her a jewelry making kit at age 5. Mimi grew up in New Orleans and began designing jewelry, as a child, by re-stringing glass Mardi Gras beads. She has worked in the retail jewelry business since 1974, having opened her first store in New Orleans in 1982.
She moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast in 1991. When Hurricane Katrina leveled Parkers, Inc., her retail store in Pass Christian, Mimi began designing her newest line. The “Silver Rabbit Collection” is named for her pet rabbits. All designs are pearls, semi-precious stones, crystals, and glass. Many designs are one of a kind. Custom designs available.
Mimi is proud to have reopened her store in Pass Christian in December of 2011.
